Through the field study in some o f the oldest labour markets, this research study tries to show the general condition of the unorg anised migrant labourers and the how it effects the condition of their children. The child rights framework is used as a guideline to determine the condition of the children of these labourers Also, the role of the government and the labourers in protectin g the ir child ren’s rights to survival, development, protection and participation. Using a n explorative frame, based on structured and unstructured interviews and observations, the condition of the children is studied. The findings show a very gloomy pictur e of the life of these labourers and their children . It shows that the poor condition of the labourers in turn affects the life of their childr en. The children are bound to stay away from school and work from as early age to support their family. And being unskilled and uneducated these children remain as unskilled unorganised labour er all through his or her life. In fact, the government facilities are either not reaching out to them or the labourers are ignorant about it.
