Abstract: The purpose of this research was to understand the perceptions and attitudes of senior citizens on technology with focus on health technologies. The research explored the elderly‘s familiarity with modern technology, their level of acceptance, willingness to learn, and/or even their adaptation to such technologies into their daily lives to improve and/or maintain their health. This research studied the ability of the elderly to meet with the rapidly advancing technology in mainly the use of everyday appliances and devices, such as household appliances, mobile phones, computers and health technologies like blood glucometer, walking stick, wheelchair, hearing aids and dialysis machines.
