Abstract: To study the housing, sanitation, medical, educational, marketing, transport and social services. (b) To study the social life of the residents of the colony. As far as the age of the respondents is concerned, 46 respondents are between 35 years and 54 years. Excepting two females, others ar~ males. 48 respondents are married and the remaining two are widows. 37 respondents belong to Maharashtra. The remaining 13 belong to States like M.P., Punjab J. & K., Mysore and Bihar. All the respondents are working in industry, except one who has retired. They differ with each other in occupational positions. 42 respondents came to Bombay in search of employment, 46 respondents came to Bombay before the last decade and 33 respondents have been staying in the Colony since last 10 to 13 years. The Colony is neat and clean. 36 respondents are satisfied with the water supply and the cleanliness of the colony. There are no medical facilities available in the Colony. There are educational facilities in or around the Colony. Regarding marketing facilities there is a provision store in the Colony.
