Abstract: The study ‘Main Bhil’: Locating Women among the Bhils of Jhabuaa’ aims to understand and explore the Bhil culture through the lens of Bhil Women. It seeks to understand the gender relations and patriarchy within Bhil community. It is a Qualitative Research and the data collection was conducted in 3 villages of Jhabua District of Madhya Pradesh. The analysis based on the research findings showed that there are strands of patriarchy and Sanskritisation in the community. Findings were also able percolate various aspects of Bhil Culture, Bhil way of living, and conceptualisation of gender identity and patriarchy in the community and how all these phenomenon affects the lives of women
